It is with great sadness that the family of Everett M. Williams III announces his passing on February 5, 2019 at the age of 68 years while in the caring hands of SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse. Everett will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend, Carla; their dear sons, Everett M. Williams IV and Justin Williams; his siblings: Joan Ciccone, Mark Williams, Jeanette Williams, Paul Williams, Diana Knopka, and Scott Williams (Denise); and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Everett was predeceased by his parents.
Born on October 20,1950 in Constableville to Everett M. Williams II and Shirley Fahey Williams, Everett grew up in Utica, graduating from Utica Free Academy with the Class of 1969. Everett then moved to northern NY, where he was employed as a mechanic for Massey-Ferguson Farm Supply in Antwerp. In 1983, he was united in marriage with Carla Barnhardt. Thereafter, the couple settled in their current residence in the Town of Wilna. For a time, Everett was employed as an iron worker with Union Local #440, Utica. In 1994, he began his career at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where he was a machine operator. He was also a former member of the Herrings Volunteer Fire Co.
Everett enjoyed hunting and western movies, and he cherished time spent with family camping on Moose River, a fond pastime since their youth.
A Funeral Service in memory of Everett will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., 143 Schuyler St., Boonville.
