Boonville- Heather M. Hutchinson, 21, of Schuyler St., passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, after a brief illness. Heather was born in Watertown on March 2, 2000, a daughter of Scott A. and Tina M. Stevens Hutchinson. As a child, she moved with her family from Lacona, NY to Boonville where she had since lived. Heather began her education at New Discovery Preschool, before continuing at Adirondack Central School through 7th grade, and completing her education at Tradewinds School of Rome. Heather found much enjoyment spending time with her family (who fondly referred to her as "Heddy" or "Turkey"), sitting on the porch, walking down the street to the Erwin Library, listening to music, and going for rides... especially if a shopping trip and Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee was involved. She was a baptized member of the Episcopal faith. In addition to her parents, Scott and Tina, Heather is survived by a twin sister, Hannah N., and an older sister, Hailey M., all of Boonville; maternal grandfather, Michael G. Stevens (Faith M. Stevens), Pierrepont Manor, NY; paternal grandmother, Sandra J. Hutchinson, Port Leyden, NY; paternal grandfather, John E. Hutchinson (Sandra Hutchinson), SC; an uncle/ Godfather, Mark J. Hutchinson (Jessica Hutchinson), VA; and an aunt, Staci L. McMillan (Michael McMillan), FL. Heather was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Edna I. Ackley Stevens. Heather's family joins together in sincerely thanking the Boonville community for their heartfelt support over the past two months. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., 143 Schuyler St., Boonville, where Rev. Mother Linda Logan, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Boonville, will officiate. Visitation hours will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the service at 1:00 P.M. All are invited to attend a celebration of Heather's life at the Harland J. Hennessey Post V.F.W. on Park Ave. in Boonville, immediately following the services at the funeral home. The Kelberman Center's annual Walk for Autism held in Boonville each April was like a holiday for Heather. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kelberman Center at 2608 Genesee St., Utica, NY 13502, or to the Erwin Library, 104 Erwin St., Boonville, NY 13309.
