William "Bill" Reese, Jr., 67, husband of Ada (Mooney) Reese, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at St. Lukeï¿(TM)s Memorial Hospital in New Hartford. Mr. Reese was born in Constableville on March 11, 1939, a son of William E. and Ellen J. Sutton Reese, Sr. He graduated from the Town of Webb High School, Old Forge, after that he served in the U.S. Air Force until honorably discharged in the late 1950ï¿(TM)s. On December 28, 1968, he was united in marriage with Ada Mooney at the First Baptist Church of Boonville, and after that the couple lived in Main St. in Boonville for three years. During that time Mr. Reese was employed at Ethan Allen Furniture Co., Boonville. After that they moved to Utica, and four years ago they moved to their present home in Whitesboro. He had also been employed as a truck driver for Smith Packing Co. of Utica, at the present time Mr. Reese was employed as a grounds keeper for Valley View Golf Course in Utica. He was a member of Boonville Baptist church, and Bill greatly enjoyed the sport of golf, and he was a fan of the New York Yankees, the Buffalo Bills, and a long time Utica College Hockey Fan. He was a former bowler in the Wednesday night league in Rive Side Bowling Alley in Marcy. In addition to his wife, Ada, he is survived by one son and daughter in law, Christopher J. Reese, and Charlene, Whitesboro, two grandchildren, Abby Reese, Herkimer, Regina Reese, Pennsylvania, one brother and sister in law; David and Marcia Reese, Boonville, three sisters; Shirley Sloma, Whitesboro, June Dymon, Las Vegas, NV., and Colleen Flansburg, Lyons Falls. His Funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where Pastor Joseph Feller, of the First Baptist Church of Boonville will officiate. Interment will be in Boonville Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
