Boonville - Violet M. Lisowski, 84, widow of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford. Violet was born in the Town of Leyden on March 9, 1936 a daughter of Martin and Petronella Kumecki Moscicki. She grew up on State Route 12D in the Town of Leyden where she attended rural schools. On February 7, 1956 she was united in marriage with Stanley K. Lisowski. Violet very much enjoyed her role as homemaker and mother to her children. In later years she adored time spent with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Violet was talented in the crafts of needlepoint and embroidery, enjoyed puzzles, reading and watching and feeding the birds. Mrs. Lisowski is survived by her four sons: Joseph (Kris), Lyons Falls, Randolph, Michael (Sandy), Thomas (Kathy), all of Boonville; one daughter Terry Lisowski, Boonville, seven grandchildren which include a special granddaughter Rebecca Farr, and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley on January 2, 2014, a grandson Cody Seymour, as the last of her siblings she was predeceased by 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Boonville Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Boonville Fire Co.
