Boonville – Timothy J. Stammers, 32, of LaChausse Road, passed away on March 1, 2024 after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving family and pets.
Timothy was born in Cape May Court House, New Jersey on January 2, 1992, a son of John and Kathleen Race Stammers. He grew up in Cape May, NJ before moving to Boonville in 2001. He graduated from Adirondack High School in 2010. Idolizing his big brother John Michael Stammers, he followed in his footsteps, excelling in Varsity football, proudly carrying on his brother’s jersey #66. While attending Adirondack, he also participated in Varsity wrestling and golf.
After graduating high school, Timothy moved to Connecticut where he worked for Lab Logistics as a dispatcher for medical transportation. He also traveled several years trucking across country with his Uncle Bob. They moved military families and hauled UConn Huskies football equipment following the team throughout the country. Over the years Timothy and his Uncle Bob grew a strong bond, sharing many great memories and tales to tell.
Timothy also shared a close relationship with his Aunt Cindy. He spent many summers in New Jersey with her after moving to NY. He was able to spend his final days with her also, laughing and joking.
He had a love for music and enjoyed playing his guitars. In his free time, you could always find him at a golf course, driving range, or snowboarding. Uncle TT especially enjoyed spending a great deal of his time with his niece Ryleigh and nephew Coltin. He would attend practices, go to horse shows, play outside. He would go fishing with Coltin, and lay on the trampoline at night and star gaze with Ryleigh.
Timothy is predeceased by his father John R. Stammers. He is survived by his mother Kathleen Stammers, Boonville, his brother John Michael Stammers, Boonville, his niece Ryleigh and nephew Coltin. He is also survived by his grandmother Mary Stammers, Pennsylvania, who he loved and admired so dearly. Timothy is survived by many aunts and uncles. He came from a large Irish Catholic family with lots of cousins, some of which he had a close and special bond with. Timothy had a zest for life, and an exuberant personality. He always lived life to the fullest.
In keeping with Timothy’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A private ceremony will be held at his family’s convenience. Arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. Boonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Sarah’s Guest House in Syracuse, NY at www.sarahsguesthouse.org.
