Boonville- Thomas W. Dellerba, 65, Church St., a native and life long resident of Boonville, passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, March 31, 2008. He was born on January 31, 1943, a son of Eileen Krambuhl Dellerba and the late Vito O. Dellerba. Tom graduated from Boonville Central School with the Class of 1961, and he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1963. From 1967 until his retirement in 2005, Mr. Dellerba was employed in ceiling installation, and as a carpenter for Upstate Carpenters Union of Utica. He greatly enjoyed and was very talented in carpentry. Tom was married to Judie Roberts on March 17, 1967, at St. Joseph's Church, Boonville, where Rev. Fr. Donald H. Karlen officiated. Mr. Dellerba was a member of St. Joseph's Church, the Sons of the American Legion, a life member of Boonville Fire Company, and a long time member of the Friday Night Bowling League at Boonville Bowl. In 1962, Tom bowled the first ever 300 score at Boonville Bowl. He enjoyed the sports of baseball, golf and hunting. A great joy of his was watching his grandchildren participate in sporting events. In addition to his wife, Judie, Boonville, he is survived by his mother, Eileen D. Dellerba, Boonville, three daughters and sons in law; Janine M. Smith, and Rick, Kari M. Crofoot, and Daniel, Shannon S. Crofoot, and David, all of Boonville, six grandchildren; Katie Dellerba, Miranda Smith, Kody Smith, Abbie Crofoot, Shelby Crofoot, and Carter Smith, two brothers and sister in law; Joe Dellerba and Lori, Rusty Dellerba and Fiance, Sharon, and one sister and brother in law; Linda Anne Fallon, and George, all of Boonville, and several nieces and nephews, and his mother in law; Mary Pilny. He was predeceased by his father, Vito on May 14, 2004, by his father in law Bob Roberts, on August 11, 1978, and by his nephew, Chad Fay, on June 7, 1989. His Funeral will be Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, and at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, Boonville, where Rev. Fr. Donald H. Karlen, pastor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be later this spring in Boonville Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 1-4 & 6-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Members of the Boonville Fire Co. will meet on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. and members of Sons of the American Legion will meet at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:15 P.M.
