Forestport- Thomas P. Fulmer, 51, of Rt. 28, formerly of West St. Boonville, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica, after a short illness. He was born in Utica, on September 25, 1961, a son of Ralph T. and Geraldine Hosford Fulmer. Tom grew up in Boonville, where he graduated from Adirondack Senior High School, with the Class of 1979. Thereafter he was employed with his father in the operation of the family Black River Ice Co. and after his father's retirement, he continued the operation of the company for several years. Following that he was employed for several tele communication companies in the Boonville area; later he was employed at Revere Copper & Brass Co. of Rome for seven years as a machine operator. For the past two years until his illness, he was employed as Head Field Supervisor for Mountain Communications LLC of Boonville. He was a member of the Boonville United Methodist Church. Tom greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating and camping on North and South Lakes. He is survived by his five children, Rachel, of Cortland, NY, Courtney, and Nathan, both of West Leyden, Jackie and Lynsey, both of Forestport; and his mother, Geraldine, Oneida. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph, on October 13, 2000, and his brother, Paul, of Florida, in 2006. He is also survived by five sisters, Cynthia Fulmer, Philadelphia, PA, Patricia (James) Armstrong, Taberg, Carol Rowlands, and Dominic Stalteri, Forestport, Phyllis (Pete) Levensailor, Boonville, and Christine (Frederick) Meyers, Oneida; and one granddaughter, Faith; and his Fiance, Terry Lisowski, and her daughter, Rebecca Farr, both of Forestport, and numerous nieces nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His Funeral will be Wednesday at 6:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for his children, in care of his sister Carol Rowlands, P.O.
