Boonville- Therese M. Stanton, affectionatley known as Terry, of Aubrey Ave., wife of William J., passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Boonville, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rochester, NY on January 9, 1939, a daughter of George and Mary Dellerba LaMarca. At the age of three she moved to Boonville with her family, where she grew up and graduated from Boonville High School with the Class of 1957. For many years while in high school, and afterwards, she was employed at her familys, LaMarcas Ice Cream Parlor, which was located in the former Union Block in downtown Boonville. Terry was employed from 1960-1984 as an operator at Contel Telephone Co., Boonville. After that whe was employed as Executive Secretary for the New York State Woodsmens Field Days of Boonville, and then at H. & R. Block of Boonville. Later she lived in Mesa AZ., working in retail for Home Place Co., returning to Boonville, in 1997. After that she was employed as a purchaser for Williamsons Food Land of Boonville, and at H.& R. Block. On November 3, 2000, Terry was married to William J. Stanton in, Boonville. Terry was previosly married to Edward Regner. She was a member of St. Josephs Church, Boonville, and greatly enjoyed cooking, gardening and crocheting. Besides her husband William, her survivors include one son, Scott A. (Joelle) Regner, Columbus, OH., Joanne (Charles) Marmon, Boonville, five grandchildren; Joshua Walker, Sean Regner, Leah Regner, William Regner, and Danielle Regner, three great grandchildren, two brothers; Robert, and John (Frankie), Mesa AZ., many nieces and nephews, and a special friend Sandy Reese. Besides her parents, Terry was predeceased by her brother George. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, August 18, at 6:00 pm at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., 143 Schuyler St. Boonville. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Interment will be in Boonville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 100 Lomond Court, Utica, NY 13502, the American Heart Association, 120 Lomond Court, Utica, NY 13502, or to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite #1010, Rockville, MD 20852.
