Boonville-Susan (Egnaczyk) Zeigler, 53, of Sunset Ave. wife of Kevin G. passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 15, 2008, of injuries from an automobile accident in the Town of Leyden. Susan was born in Constableville, on May 2, 1955, a daughter of Julian S. and Jane Hoch Egnaczyk. Her entire life was lived in Boonville, where she graduated from Adirondack High School with the Class of 1973. While in high school she participated in the sports of soccer, volley ball, and soft ball. After high school, she attended and graduated from Center City Business Institute in Syracuse. On May 21, 1977, Susan was united in marriage with Kevin G. Zeigler, at St. Joseph's Church, Boonville. Over the course of many years, she was employed as a secretary and bookkeeper for the Egnaczyk family Boonville Oil Co. For the past several years she was employed as a conversion specialist for Benefit Plan Administrators, Utica. In 1982, she and Kevin founded their business, "Park Side Paint and Wall Paper," a business that was operated out of the former Park Market Grocery Store in downtown Boonville. Their store became noted for the eye catching ceramic Christmas Village in the store's front window each Christmas season. Mrs. Zeigler was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Boonville, and the Adirondack Central School Booster Club. Susan's primary goal and enjoyment in life was to be a loving and caring mother. She loved her family, and reveled in their care and interests. She and her daughter Emily found great enjoyment and satisfaction in preparing special holiday meals, each year being a challenge to be innovative with new food preparations. She also enjoyed collecting antiques, dolls, and rolling pins. She was accomplished at sewing, needle point projects and crafts. In addition to her Husband, Kevin, she is survived by three daughters: Erika Jaye Zeigler, Ilion, Erin Marie Zeigler, Boonville, Emily Jane Zeigler, who is attending graduate school at Russell Sage College, Troy, NY. three brothers; Perry A. Egnaczyk and wife, Jane D., Kris Egnaczyk and wife, Kathy, Tim and daughter, Shelby, all of Boonville, one sister, Jan Denslow, and husband, Bruce, Boonville, her mother in law, Sylvia Zeigler, Boonville, and many nieces, and nephews. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, Boonville, where Rev. Fr. Donald H. Karlen, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boonville. Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 & 6-9 P.M. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.
