Floyd- Stephen T. Grenicko, 64, passed away suddenly, after a long illness, at his residence on Thursday, April 30, 2020. Stephen was born in Constableville, on March 25, 1956, a son of Andrew and Lorena Burr Grenicko. He grew up on the Crofoot Hill Road, near Constableville, later living in Boonville, where he received his education. Mr. Grenicko served his county in the U.S. Navy, on the USS Lang and was honorably discharged in 1973. For many years he was self-employed in home construction in the Utica area. He was married to Barbara Benedict. He greatly enjoyed fishing on Oneida Lake and also hunting. His greatest joy was spending time with the grandchildren. Stephen is survived by two daughters and a son; Shannon Grenicko, (Anthony Strange), Boise, ID, Christopher (Christeen) Grenicko, Payette, ID and Jessica Karol, Fernley, NV; his grandchildren, Heidi, Riley, Christopher and Stephen; five brothers, Francis (Dena), James, and Andrew, Billy (Stephanie) Chambrone and Tony (Toni Ann) Chambrone and Rick (Cecelia) Cook, and their family; six sisters, Rita (Bill) Sullivan, Tammy Doxtader, Terry Maricle, Billy Jo Brown, Kathy (Roger) Cardinelle and Lori Scheve. He was predeceased by his son, Stephen T. Grenicko, Jr., a brother, John and by a sister, Rena, who died as an infant and by his parents, Andrew Grenicko and his mother, Lorena Burr. Stephen is also survived by his companion of 21 years, Karen A. Foley, Floyd and by her children, Cortney Kulpa, Crista Russell and Robert Lewis and her grandchildren. Private graveside services will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Constableville. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Constableville Fire Company, P.O. Box 438, Constableville, NY 13325, or to the American Cancer Society, 100 Lomond Ct. Utica, NY 13502. His arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. Boonville.
