Boonville - Sheila M. (Ross) Mokrzycki, 66, of Main Street, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, after a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Boonville, Sheila was a daughter of Seymour C. and Gladys (Moltz) Ross. She received her education at Boonville Central School, and was employed as a press operator at the former Abelove's Linen Supply Co. in Utica, and in the Packaging Department at the ARC in Greig. Married initially to R. Adam Przezlomski, she was widowed when Mr. Przezlomski died on February 21, 1971. On September 22, 1983, she was married to Francis J. Mokrzycki at the First Baptist Church, Boonville. Mr. Mokrzycki died on August 14, 2009. Sheila was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Boonville, AARP, Port Leyden Senior Citizens, Young at Heart Senior Citizens, Oriental Rebekah Lodge, and the Oneida County Pomona Grange. She greatly enjoyed playing bingo. For the past ten years, Mrs. Mokrzycki served as an active and faithful volunteer at Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Boonville. Her survivors include one daughter, Denise Ross of Frankfort; a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Kathy Ross of Ft. Pierce, FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ronald Howe of Ava; and three generations of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Boonville, where Rev. Sean O'Brien and Rev. Lawrence Marullo will concelebrate. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boonville. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 232 Academy Street, Boonville, NY 13309.
