Scott A. Weaver

Boonville- Scott A. Weaver, 65, of Academy St., passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. 

 Scott was born in Constableville, on March 8, 1959, a son of Ivan Weaver and Phyllis Rocker. He grew up on Buck Hill, Town of Western, where he was raised by his grandparents, Leland and Josephine (Ohm) Weaver. Scott received his education at Adirondack Central School, Boonville and later for many years he was self-employed as a logger in the Boonville area. 

 A lifelong outdoorsman, he greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of many area hunting clubs. 

 He is survived Angela (Todd) Crofoot, whom Scott considered to be his daughter, Elizabethtown, KY; their children who affectionately called Scott, “Grandpa,” Kendra (Mike) Marek, Kaley, Kaitlyn, Karlie Crofoot; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Amelia Marek; an aunt, Anna Radell-Weaver and Ian Radell, both Boonville and many cousins. Also surviving are his favorite canine buddies; Bubby and Nala. 

 In keeping with his wishes there will be no services or calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. Box 682, Lowville, NY 13367. His arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. Boonville, NY.
