For many years she was "Boonville's Doctor," a caring example of our Lord's love amongst those where ever she resided. She had a great sense of humor, and was a brilliant person in her profession of nursing and health care. For 12 years Sandy served her country as a Registered Nurse and then as a Nurse Practitioner at the U.S. Army Reserves, in the 331st General Hospital, Utica, NY, honorably discharged with the rank of Major, in 2001. "For I was hungry, and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, naked and you clothed Me, sick and you visited Me, in prison and you came to Me," and the King will answer and say to them, "in as much as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it unto Me." From Matthew chapter 25.
