Roxanne Cohen

Boonville – Roxanne Cohen, 71, resident of Post Street IRA, passed away on December 24, 2022 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Facility, New Hartford following a brief illness.

Roxanne was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 1, 1951 a daughter of Louis and Lee Brown Cohen. She has resided at the Post Street IRA, Boonville since 2006, coming from Rome, NY. Roxanne had an engaging personality, and enjoyed attending the Schoonmaker Day Hab facility in Boonville. Walks in Erwin Park were a favorite as well as listening to piano music. She was of the Hebrew faith.

She is survived by her many housemates who loved her dearly, as well as the many caregivers at Post St. IRA. Roxanne was predeceased by her parents and three siblings.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 1:00 P.M., at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where a calling hour will be from 12 Noon until the time of the service, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the spring in Boonville Cemetery.
