Camden- Ricky J. Rogers, 58, husband of Tina, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Rome Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. Ricky was born in Constableville, on September 18, 1960, a son of Alton E. and Norah Green Rogers. He grew up on the East Road in Port Leyden, graduating from South Lewis Central School. Ricky then furthered his education in propane gas services. He was employed for Gary Munger at GEM Gas, Lowville, where he delivered propane and was a furnace repair technician. For a time, Ricky was married to Barbara Marsden, and together the couple had two children Alton and Lisa. Later the couple divorced. Ricky then met his longtime companion Tina Marie Gottuso. The couple first settled in Rome, where Ricky then began employment for L.B. Securities, Utica, where he was a security guard and private investigator. Ricky and Tina were married on May 17, 2014 at Forest Park in Camden. Together they built their home in the Town of Florence; they had two children Jared and Misina. Ricky is survived by his wife Tina, children: Alton Rogers (Ashley Parsons), Lisa (Brandon) Martin, Jared Rogers, and Misina Rogers, his siblings: Sally Swiernik, Port Leyden, Wayne Rogers, Chases Lake, Johnny (Debbie) Rogers, Port Leyden, Gary Rogers, Tennessee, and his several adopted children. He was predeceased by his brothers Leo, Gordon and Fred, a niece Tina Chapman, and nephew Jody Rogers. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. His funeral arrangements are in care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., Boonville. Memorial contributions in Rickys name may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O.
