Lyons Falls- Richard G. "Dick" Seller, 68, a long time resident of Franklin St., husband of Julie, passed away at his residence on Thursday, May 10, 2012, while surrounded by the care of his loving family, and hospice. He was born in Watertown, on May 25, 1943, a son of Richard W. and Louanna Dyer Seller. Dick grew up in Watertown, and then on Leyden Road, near Port Leyden, graduating from Port Leyden Central School with the Class of 1959. Afterwards he attended Alfred State University. For over thirty years, Mr. Seller was employed as a Crew Caller first for Penn Central Railroad, then for Conrail, retiring from CSX Transportation Co., at Selkirk, NY. Richard was united in marriage with Julie I. Manning, on November 25, 1970, in Lyons Falls. Dick greatly enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, fishing, hunting, classic cars, four wheeling, snowmobiling and his dog and faithful companion, "Benney." In addition to his wife, Julie, he is survived by his children, Laurie Seller, Watertown, Richard B. (Heather) Seller, Croghan, Mary "Niki" (Matthew) Snyder, Kirkville, John W. Seller, Lyons Falls, three grandchildren, Morgan, age 12, Chloe, age 9, Maximus, age 4, and two brothers, Allan Seller, Fredericksburg, VA, and Timothy M. Seller, Brewerton. In keeping with this wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.
