Richard F. Lallier, 55, of Miller Road, husband of Shelley, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2007, at St. Elizabethï¿(TM)s Medical Center, Utica. At the present time Mr. Lallier was employed for the Village of Boonville, as Manager of the Boonville Village Transfer Site on Rt. 12. He was born in Utica, on January 26, 1952, a son of Mary L. Van Buskirk Lallier, and the late Richard A. Lallier. Rick grew up on Rt. 12 in the Town of Leyden, attending Port Leyden Elementary School, graduating from South Lewis Senior High School with the Class of 1970. While in high school Rick attended B.O.C.E.S., in Glenfield, where he studied heating and air conditioning. For thirteen years, he was employed at Lowville Agway as a furnace repairman and propane truck driver. After that he was employed for Helmerï¿(TM)s Fuel Co. of Old Forge in heating system repair and propane delivery. In October, 1986, Mr. Lallier began his employment with the village of Boonville, where he was employed for the street department, and the transfer site. Prior to his fatherï¿(TM)s death in 1995, he assisted his father in the operation of Lallier Excavating Co. On April 2, 1977, Rick was united in marriage with Shelley Wason at St. Josephï¿(TM)s Church, Boonville. He greatly enjoyed camping and boating with his family, and restoring automobiles and trucks. In addition to his wife, Shelley, he is survived by his mother, Mary, Port Leyden, one son, John R. Lallier, one daughter, Melissa Lallier, both at home, three sisters; Belinda Flansburg, Kayuta Lake, Yvette Lallier, and Theresa Lallier, both of Boonville, many nieces, nephews, sisters in law, and brothers in law. Mr. Lallierï¿(TM)s family wishes to express their sincere heart felt thanks and great appreciation to the staff of St. Elizabethï¿(TM)s Hospital Emergency Room, and Intensive Care Unit, with a special thanks to Drs. Tretter and Yoss. His Funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., where Rev. William A. Mudge, pastor of the Boonville United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be private. Calling hours are Sunday 7-9 P.M. and Monday 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Boonville Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, P.O.
