Richard E. Bean

July 10, 1969 — March 2, 2020

Boonville- Richard E. Bean (Captain) went to be with family and find the ultimate fishing and hunting spots for all eternity on March 2, 2020. He was born on July 10, 1969, to Doreen and Edward Bean (deceased). Not long after this birth, he became a big brother to John (deceased), Brenda (deceased) and Lisa (heartbroken). Richard graduated from Adirondack High School, in 1987, entered the US Army, worked construction and then moved on to become an Iron Worker; even on earth, he knew no limits and soared with the angels. He was a part of building many building and bridges throughout New York and beyond. (See that?? I built that! See that?? I worked on that!!) He is leaving behind many loved ones, and for some, he gave a unique name to them; (his way of showing love) Eazy E, Mondo, Tamie, Aunt, Freak-a-zoid, Little Guy, Dweeb, Koda, Rabbit, Matty, Chicklet, Lyn, The Girl, Jordan, Danika, Cheryl, Tom and his work "brothers." The Iron Workers Prayer Monuments built by human hands; Bridges, towers, and buildings, too By men who work for me and you. Men with strong and callused hands Who toil all day upon our lands. They work in weather dark and dreary; When day is done they come home weary. They work in the hottest heat of day And earn every bit of their weekly pay. They work in mud, sleet and snow And go where others dare not go. They work along and with each other And that is why they're called "Brother." They climb where angels fear to tread They never look down in fear or dread. So, don't wait till the bye and bye To say a prayer to the one on high For men on whom we all rely, Bless the Ironworker in the sky. ~Unknown His Funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where calling hours are Friday 6-8 P.M. A spring interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boonville. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family. For an on-line message of sympathy, please go to www.trainorfuneralhome.com
