Boonville - Phillip D. Gleasman, 50, a longtime resident of the Moose River Road, died unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, December 20, 2009. He was born in Utica, on October 20, 1959, a son of Harley R. and the late Jean (Goodhine) Gleasman. Phillip grew up in the vicinity of Highmarket, and attended Constableville Elementary School. In 1969 he moved to the Moose River Road with his family, and graduated from Adirondack Senior High School in Boonville with the Class of 1977. Following his graduation, Phillip was employed in the shipping department at Oneida Limited in Sherrill. During the past several years he had attended central New York area colleges, and in 2008 Mr. Gleasman received a bachelorï¿(TM)s degree in Business Publication and Management from SUNYIT in Utica. At the present time he was employed in the mortgage department at the Oriskany Branch of the Bank of NY. Phillip greatly enjoyed hunting, trap and skeet shooting, and many years of spending time with his father at their hunting camp. He is survived by his father, Harley, of Boonville; a nephew, Travis Gleasman; a niece, Ashley Ringwald; and a sister-in-law, Lana Gleasman of Boonville. He was predeceased by his mother, Jean, on May 17, 2009, his sister, Laurie Ann, on January 10, 1966, and his brother, Gary M. on May 29, 2006. In keeping with his wishes, services with interment in St. Josephï¿(TM)s Cemetery will be private. There will be no public visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
