Peter John Scheer Lyons Falls- Peter J. Scheer, 33, of Markham St. passed away suddenly at Rome Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, due to years of drug addiction. Peter was born in New Hartford, on December 29, 1987, a son of Peter J. and Charlene Ferretti Scheer. He grew up in Lyons Falls, attending Port Leyden elementary school, later graduating from South Lewis Senior High School, Turin, with the Class of 2006. While in high school, Peter enjoyed and excelled at playing Soccer and participating on the ski team. He attended SUNY Canton, where he graduated with an Associate Degree in Auto Technology and Computer Science. For a time, he lived in Sayville, LI, where he was employed in computer technology; later he relocated to Arkansas where he was employed in heating and air-conditioning. Peter was very friendly to everyone. He would do anything for anyone. Everyone loved him. His and our wishes are that this doesn't have to be you or your family. In addition to his parents, Peter and Charlene Scheer, Lyons Falls, he is survived by two brothers, Stephen Scheer, Buffalo, Christopher Bud Scheer and girlfriend, Jolene, San Francisco; one sister, Hannah Scheer, Constableville, a nephew, Julian Amidon; nine aunts and seven uncles and many cousins. Peter was predeceased by his four grandparents and an aunt. Funeral Services are Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, with interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Lyons Falls. Calling hours are Tuesday 4-7 P.M. and Wednesday from 12 Noon until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
