Boonville – Patricia Ann Griffith, 77, of Kipp Road, wife of Raymond, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Rome Hospital, after a heroic battle with a severe case of sarcoidosis and pulmonary fibrosis L4 series, for the past 5 years.


Patricia was born on September 29, 1945 in Lowville, a daughter of Almon and Eletha Hinton Rogers. She grew up in the Copenhagen area, where she received her education. For a time, she was employed as a security guard for Empire Arrow, an aircraft repair company in Rome, New York.


On November 15, 1969 she was united in marriage with Raymond Griffith, Jr. Patricia enjoyed animals of all kinds, especially her own horses and dogs. She will be fondly remembered as a talented baker of cakes.


She is survived by her husband Raymond and their children; Shawn (Mandy) Griffith, and Scott Griffith (Heather Loomis); the children from her first marriage, Tammy (Ronnie) Andre, all of Boonville and Paul Larrabee. several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney and Gennie Rogers, Cherry Valley, NY, Jeffery and Laura Rogers, Lyons Falls. She was predeceased by a brother Almon Rogers, Jr. (Judy), and their three children in a trailer fire, in 1979. Also surviving are four sisters; Sandy and Tom Agans, Sylvan Beach, Linda and Burton Griffith, Boonville, Pam and Bruce Cobb, South Carolina and Sherry and Robert Dunaway, Port Leyden and several nieces and nephews.


In keeping with her wishes, all services will be held privately by her family. Interment will be in Champion Cemetery, Champion, NY. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.
