Boonville- Norbert R. Weiler, 86, husband of Beverly, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Boonville, where he had resided since January, 2015. He was born on September 18, 1928, at the Weiler homestead farm on the Fish Creek Road, Constableville, a son of George and Pearl M. Kaido Weiler. He grew up on the Weiler farm, receiving his education in rural schools. Later, after his father died, he was employed in the operation of the family farm. In 1955, he was married to Norma Crill, and since then Mr. Weiler had lived in Boonville. From the 1950's until 1968, Mr. Weiler was employed for Robert Coscomb in the operation of a large logging business in northern New York. From 1968 until his retirement in 1991, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Boonville Highway Department. Many years ago he was divorced. On June 27, 1985, Norbert was married to Beverly Poole at Morristown, NY. He greatly enjoyed hunting, observing wildlife, family picnics and greatly enjoyed partaking of good food. He was a cat lover. In addition to his wife, Beverly, Mr. Weiler is survived by twin sons, Timothy (Renda) Weiler, Indiana, Thomas (Betsy) Weiler, New Hampshire; two daughters, Julie (Bruce) Weigand, Turin, and Lorie (Mark) Bellinger, Boonville; four step children, Patricia Hopseker, Alexandria Bay, John Callaghan, Roger Callaghan, both NC, and David Callaghan, TN, fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildrlen, one brother, George (Shirley) Weiler, West Leyden; two sisters, Adaline Croniser, Boonville and Pearl Waldron, Lowville. He was predeceased by seven brothers; Ambrose, Alvin, Leslie, Theodore, Thomas, Clayton and his twin brother, Robert; by a sister, Luella Brinkerhoff and by a half-brother, Mike. Also surviving are sisters in law, Eleanor Weiler, Constableville and Helen Weiler, Boonville. His Funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, with interment to follow in St. Peter's & Paul's Cemetery, Fish Creek.
