Lyons Falls- Nancy H. Clark, 66, of Weberville Rd, wife of Ray E. passed away at her residence, after a long illness, while surrounded by the loving care of her husband, family and Lewis Co. Hospice, on Saturday April 2, 2016. She was born in Syracuse, on January 13, 1950, a daughter of Bert and Marian Manchester Paro. Raised in a military family, while growing up Nancy lived in Germany, the Syracuse area and in Huntington, L.I. She graduated from Central Square High School. On August 6, 1967, Nancy was united in marriage to Ray E. Clark, III in Huntington, L.I. Later the couple settled in Fulton, before moving to Parish, where they lived for 25 years. From 1999-2009, Mrs. Clark was employed as a Foster Care Advocate in recruitment and retention of services at Liberty Resources, Fulton, NY. During this time, she furthered her education taking college courses. In 2009, she and Ray both retired from their employments and relocated to their present home near Lyons Falls. Nancy loved children; she considered all children to be precious. In the course of 45 years she raised over 150 foster children, some of which she adopted. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Parish United Methodist Church and she greatly enjoyed camping, antique shopping and home decorating projects. In addition to her husband Ray, Nancy is survived by her children; Patricia C. (Salvatore) Cannata, Pennellville, Michael J. (Heather) Clark, Central Square, Leann M. (Dana) New, Mexico, NY, Ray E. Clark, IV, Utica, Timothy B. Clark, Debra R. Lewis, Maryland, Merry K. Clark, Lyons Falls, Andrew J. Clark, Fulton, Renee A. Studert, Lyons Falls, Amy B. Clark, Ft. Drum, Molly K. Clark, Fulton and David M. Clark, Lyons Falls, 15 grandchildren and one sister, Chrissy Gulickson, NC. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, and a sister, Susan Hogan. A memorial service will be Sunday, April 10, at 2:00 P.M. at Hawkinsville United Methodist Church. There are no calling hours.
