Boonville- Mildred (Millie) B. Kranbuhl, 95, of Hawkinsville Road, Boonville, wife of Douglas, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Grand of Utica, after a brief illness.


Mildred was born in Constableville, on December 15, 1927, a daughter of George and Lula Clark Plummer. She grew up in the Constableville area.


On August 30, 1947, Mildred married the love of her life, Douglas Keith Kranbuhl. A blessed union of 75 years, they resided in Boonville all of those years.


Mildred’s greatest joy was wife, homemaker and mother, raising five children and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved spending time at camp and taking four wheeler rides with family and friends. Millie and Doug also loved traveling and going to Hawaii several times.


Mildred is survived by her husband, Doug; two daughters and sons in law, Lynda (John) Dailey, Glenfield, Claudia (Joe) Zbytniewski; one son and daughter in law, Gerald (Debbie) Kranbuhl, all of Boonville; daughters in law, Holly Kranbuhl, Janelle Kranbuhl; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Buckingham, Lowville and many cherished nieces and nephews.


Mildred was predeceased by her parents, George and Lula; two sons, Timothy and Doug, Jr. granddaughter, Stacey, grandson, Scott and by two sisters, Betty Chiocki and Evelyn Szijarto


Millie will be affectionately remembered as a loving, caring soul and she will be greatly missed. For over thirty years she was a member of the Harland J. Hennessey Post V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Boonville.


Her Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. Boonville. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in the spring in Boonville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Boonville Fire Company Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 164, Boonville, NY 13309.
