(Colgan) Migliori, 76, wife of Vincent J. passed away at Roswell Park Comprehensive Care Center, Buffalo, on Monday, March 28, 2022, while surrounded by the loving care of her husband and family. Affectionately known as Pat, she was born in Rome, on September 25, 1945, a daughter of Rey F. Colgan, D.C., and Elizabeth Clifford Colgan. She received her education at Academy of Holy Names, Rome, graduating with the Class of 1963. On May 8, 1965, Pat married the love of her life, Vincent James Migliori, at Transfiguration Church of Rome. Thereafter the couple lived in Syracuse for several years before returning to Rome. Mrs. Migliori enjoyed a long career in the health care field, beginning in 1965, as an operating room technician during the construction of Upstate Medical Center Hospital, Syracuse. Later she graduated from St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing, Utica, receiving her Registered Nurse degree. Thereafter Pat was employed as an R.N. at Syracuse Psychiatric Center and the Rome Developmental Center, before many years of employment for the NYS Department of Corrections at Walsh Medical Hospital Facility at Mohawk Correctional Facility, Rome, retiring in 2010. Pat was a member of St. Mary's Nativity Church, West Leyden, where she served on the parish council. She was a very accomplished cook and baker and also enjoyed genealogy and tracing her family's roots back to the Revolutionary War era. For many years she assisted her husband in the operation of their farm and also enjoyed traveling extensively, especially touring the state of Alaska. In addition to her husband, Vincent, Pat is survived by her children, daughter, Christine Tyrlik, Rome; son, Vincent P. (Marlies) Migliori, Clarence, NY; two grandchildren, Paul Tyrlik and Katherine Tyrlik and one sister, Barbara (Gary) Cooper, Inverness, FL. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Colgan. Also surviving are two brothers, James Colgan, Marshfield, VT., Christopher (Cathy) Colgan, Rome, Anne Colgan and Laurie Colgan and dozens of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Lawrence Marullo, on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Nativity Church, West Leyden, followed by interment in Wright Settlement Cemetery, Rome, NY. There are no calling hours. Her arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roswell Park, 665 Elm St. Buffalo, NY 14203.
