Boonville- Mary Lou Hamblin, 82, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016, at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Boonville, where she had resided since November, 2011. Before residing at Sunset, Mary Lou resided for many years at Kortenaer Village, South St. Boonville. A native and lifelong resident of Boonville, Mary Lou was born on February 7, 1935, a daughter of N. Cyrus and Lula Warren Hamblin. She attended school in Boonville. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Boonville, and the In His Name Women's Society of the Church. She was also a long time member of Salma Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Boonville. Mary Lou greatly enjoyed the Boonville-Oneida Co. Fair where she served as a volunteer for many years. She enjoyed and loved all kinds of animals, especially her dog, Pepper and her many feline friends. Mary Lou is survived by first cousins, Marvel Denslow, Boonville, Linda Parker, Prospect, and Virginia Mascitelli, Boonville and many other cousins, and by two close friends, Mrs. Evelyn Wagoner and Mrs. Vivian Brucker who helped her in many ways for many years. She was predeceased by first cousins; James Warren and Sheila Bauer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Boonville Cemetery, on Wednesday, June 29, at 10:00 A.M.
