Marion O'Connor

Marion Oï¿(TM)Connor, 73, wife of Peter Oï¿(TM)Connor, a former resident of Valley View Drive, Boonville, and most recently of Pinewild Lane, Rockingham, passed away on March 20, 2007, at her residence. A native of Queens, N.Y., Marion was born on January 30, 1934, a daughter of Michael and Mary Grasso Lupica. She grew up in Jamaica, graduating from John Adams High School. Marion was employed for Electrolux Company, Queens, later as Office Manager for Watson Supply Co., and then for many years she was employed as a secretary for the chief engineer for N.Y. Water Corp, both in Merrick, L.I. Marion was united in marriage to Peter Oï¿(TM)Connor on October 13, 1957, at Immaculate Conception Monastery Church in Jamaica, Queens. After that the couple lived in Merrick, L.I. for many years, moving from there to Copake, NY (Columbia Co.) and then to Boonville. While living in Boonville, the couple attended St. Martinï¿(TM)s Church, Port Leyden. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter and son in law; Jacqueline M. Webster, and Peter, Boonville, five grandchildren; Nicole Connolly, Peter Connolly, Patrick Webster, Christopher Webster, and one great granddaughter, Tessa Mae Sturtevant. She was predeceased by a grand son Kevin Owen Webster in 1998. Also surviving are three brothers; Louis Lupica, Utah, Robert Lupica, Richard Lupica, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. A brother Joseph predeceased her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, May 5, 2007, at 12:30 P.M. at White Lake Cemetery, Woodgate, where Rev. Fr. Donald H. Karlen, Pastor of St. Josephï¿(TM)s Church, Boonville, will officiate. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Boonville Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 164 Boonville, NY 13309. Arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., Boonville.
