Maggie E. Reynolds

December 10, 1955 — May 4, 2022

Boonville - Maggie E. Reynolds, 66 of Main Street, Boonville NY passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 while at St. Luke's Hospital in New Hartford, NY. Affectionally known as Maggie (a nickname given to her by her husband), she was known as Rustee to her Pennsylvania family and friends. She was born in Brownsville Pennsylvania on December 10, 1955, the second daughter of Robert H. (Brownie) Brown, Sr. and Dorothy Cassidy Brown. She was a 1973 graduate of Brownsville Area High School and then went on to pursue an associate's degree in early childhood education, at Penn State University, Fayette Campus. That was driven by her passion and love for little children. She worked for some time with a pre-school center, as a private nanny to her beloved Nicole and ultimately moved on to a short career in real estate. From that life in Pennsylvania, she moved to NY more than 20 years ago, and that was when she met and married in 2006 her husband, Wesley (Dave) Reynolds. For the rest of her life, she devoted her time to her husband and her home in Boonville, NY. Maggie also continued her work with children; she developed a close relationship with some families in Boonville and loved and cared for their children. Recently, Mrs. Reynolds became a Charter Member of the Boonville Lions Club and was greatly looking forward to receiving her Charter Member Pin on May 14th, 2022. Maggie came from a large family and is survived by her brothers, Robert (Adhrena) Brown, Danny (Kathy) Brown, Patrick (Lori) Brown and Jimmy Brown, and sisters, Mary Lenora Brown (Hajduk), Martha Brown and Theresa Faust. Maggie also loved her many nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces and great, great nephews and nieces, too numerous to mention each by name, yet loved by her nonetheless. She was predeceased by her husband, Dave on November 24, 2021. She was also predeceased by her parents, one brother, Jerry Brown, two nieces Janis Brown and Roxanna Rrahsti, and one great nephew, Andrew Brown. Maggie's Funeral Service will be on Monday, May 23rd at 11:00 A.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where relatives and friends may also call on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Interment Services for Maggie and her husband, Dave, will follow in Boonville Cemetery. As Dave was a Veteran, his interment will occur with military honors from Charles J. Love Post 406, American Legion, Harland J. Hennessey Post V.F.W. and The Tun Tavern Marine Corps League, all of Boonville. Following the services at Boonville Cemetery, all are invited to attend a luncheon at The Broadway Bakery and Cafe, Main St. Boonville. Maggie continues to live on as she was an organ donor. Memorial contributions may be made to Donate America at CDT 218 Great Oaks Blvd., Albany, NY 12203, or to the Boonville Lions Club.
