Turin- Kyle M. Brown, 23, of the East Road, Collinsville, passed away on Monday, November, 18, 2013, at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, from injuries resulting from a construction accident in Pulaski, on November 18. Kyle was born in Lowville, on February 12, 1990, a son of Frederick and Cathy Post Brown. His entire life was spent in the Turin area; he attended Port Leyden Elementary School and graduated from South Lewis Senior High School with the Class of 2008. Thereafter he attended SUNY Canton, where he earned a certificate in Electrical Construction and Maintenance. In July, 2013, he began his employment in building construction, with M.T.L. Designs Co. of Watertown, NY. Kyle had a very tender place in his heart for animals of all kinds. He loved dairy farming and greatly enjoyed eight years of employment at Conway Farms of Turin. While in high school he was a member of the Junior Varsity and Varsity Soccer Teams and the Varsity Rifle Team. He enjoyed pickup trucks and creatively decorating trucks. His smile and great sense of humor was endearing to all who knew Kyle. In addition to his parents, Frederick and Cathy, Kyle is survived by his twin sister, Amanda Brown, at home, and several aunts, uncles and cousins, and his girlfriend, Stephanie Carpenter, Constableville. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Earl and Fannie Brown and by his maternal grandparents, Gordon L. and Lois M. Post, and by an uncle, Charles D. (Buck) Post, and by a cousin, Robbie Brown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Martin's Church, Port Leyden, with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Port Leyden. Calling hours are Friday 1-4 & 6-9 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Lewis Co. Humane Society 6833 Pine Grove Road, Glenfield, NY 13433.
