Lyons Falls- Kyle L. Riesel, 24, of Belmont St., passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013, in the Town of Watson. Kyle was born in Lowville, on April 22, 1989, a son of Charles D. and Helene Kiskis Riesel. He attended Port Leyden Elementary School, completing his education at South Lewis Senior High School, Turin. Kyle loved the outdoors and was currently employed as a skidder operator in logging operations throughout Northern New York with Van Alstine Logging Co. of Lyons Falls. He was a very talented artist who greatly enjoyed drawing and sketching with charcoal. He enjoyed spending time on Black River, being with his friends; most of all Kyle enjoyed riding his motor cycle. In addition to his mother, Helene, of Lyons Falls, Kyle is survived by three brothers, Randy Riesel, Graceville, Fla, Darrin Riesel, Schenectady and Nathaniel (Amie) Stafford, and their children, Dillon Smith and Collin Stafford, Lyons Falls; three sisters, Mandi Riesel, and her son Bentlee Johnstown, Tessa Hoffert, and her daughter, Autumn, Boonville and Emily Van Alstine, Johnstown; and his maternal grandmother, Alice Damuth, Schenectady. He was predeceased by his father, Charles, in 1992, and by a sister, Olivia Rose Van Alstine, on March 15, 2012. He is also survived by Lucas Dafoe and Justin Rombough; his two best friends since they were all in kindergarten together, and his beloved dog, Lincoln. His Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where Pastor Joe Feller of the First Baptist Church of Boonville, will officiate. Interment will be in Turin Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral.
