Kenneth R. Seymour

Forestport- Kenneth R. Seymour, 24, of Division St., passed away peacefully, at his home, on Monday, December 24, 2018, while surrounded by the care of his family. Ken was born in Utica, on March 22, 1994, a son of Lloyd A. and Brenda I. Broadbent Seymour, Jr. He grew up in Forestport and in Greig, attending Forestport Elementary School, and South Lewis School, before returning to Forestport and graduating from Adirondack High School, Boonville, with the Class of 2014. Thereafter he furthered his education attending Edinboro College, of Erie Pennsylvania. He was employed as an attendant at The Enchanted Forest of Old Forge. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading and playing video games. He is survived by his mother and step father, Michael and Brenda Alfano, Brantingham, his father, Lloyd A. Seymour, Jr. and his maternal grandmother, Donna (Groth) Broadbent, Forestport. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Gardner L. Broadbent, Jr., on July 22, 2017. Ken is also survived by one sister, Brittney Alfano, Brantingham; his uncle and aunt, John and Jackie Broadbent and their children, Elizabeth Youngs and Katherine Broadbent, Forestport and aunt and uncle, Michael and Jessica Berwick and their children, Angelia, Michael, Jr. and Dalton, all of Huntertown, IN. Also surviving is his care aid and very best friend, Latisha Taylor. His Funeral will be Friday at 4:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, with interment in Olden Barneveld Cemetery, Town of Trenton.
