Keith Jerome Larrivey

June 15, 1957 — July 20, 2006

Keith Jerome Larrivey, 49, of Post St., passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2006, at his residence, after a courageous battle with Myotonic Dystrophy. Keith was born in Rome, on June 15, 1957, a son of Edward J. and Norma DeVoe Larrivey. He was a life long resident of Boonville, where he graduated from Adirondack Senior High School with the Class of 1975. After that he attended SUNY at Cobleskill, and then he graduated from Morrisville College, with a degree in accounting. His first employment was at Boonville Division of Ethan Allen Furniture Co., where he was a table saw operator. After that he was an driver for Amsa Armored Car Co. His final employment was at Dodge Printing Co. of Utica, where he was a printing press operator. He retired after ten years of employment at the printing company due to illness. He greatly loved music, and he played drums while a member of the Adirondack Central School Marching Band. For many years, Keith enjoyed fishing with his grandfather, Jack Larrivey at Blue Mountain Lake, and at other Adirondack region lakes. In addition to his parents, Edward, and Norma Larrivey, of Boonville, Keith is survived by three sisters; Karen Crolius and husband, Jeff, Kim Czajka and special friend Stanley Laskowski, all of Boonville, Katrina and John Hummel, West Virginia, one brother; Kyle J. Larrivey, at home, three nephews; Corby Czajka, and wife, Stacy, James Brown, Michael Brown, two great nephews; Brandan Czajka, Landon, and a great niece, Haley. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday from 1-3 P.M. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where a service will be held at 3 P.M. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Flowers are gratefully declined, however instead, memorial contributions may be made to Boonville Fire Company, P.O. Box 64, Boonville, NY 13309, or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 10 E 40th St. New York, New York 10016-4110.
