Lyons Falls- Julie I. (Manning) Seller, 76, a former longtime resident of Franklin St. and more recently of Cherry St. Lyons Falls, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Boonville.
Julie was born in Lowville, on March 26, 1949, a daughter of Harry J. and Caroline Belmont Manning. She grew up on Franklin St. Lyons Falls and received her education at Lyons Falls Central School. On November 25, 1970, Julie was united in marriage with Richard G. Seller, in Lyons Falls. Thereafter the couple settled on Franklin St. Richard, a retiree of CSX Transportation Co., Selkirk, NY, passed away on Mary 10, 2010.
Mrs. Seller cherished her role as a wife, mother and homemaker. She will be fondly remembered as being a great cook and baker and she always greatly enjoyed hosting holiday dinners and celebrations. In addition, she enjoyed taking ATV rides with her husband and she loved her canine friends.
She is survived by her children; Laurie Seller, Watertown, Richard B. (Heather) Seller, Lyons Falls, Mary “Niki” (Matthew) Snyder, Kirkville, John W. Seller, Lyons Falls; three grandchildren, Morgan, age 25, Chloe, age 21and Maximus, age 17. The last of her family, Julie was predeceased by two sisters, Ann Brown and Mary Poore and by two brothers, Robert and Harry Manning.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. box 682, Lowville, NY 13367. Her arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. Boonville.
