Poland- Julie M. Paquin, 53, of Gravesville Road and formerly of Kerwin Road, Boonville, (Town of Leyden), passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. Julie was born in Lowville, NY, on July 17, 1968, a daughter of Charles and Jeanne Brooks Mooney. She grew up on Kerwin Road and graduated from South Lewis High School, Turin, with the Class of 1986. Following her high school years, she resided in Germany, before relocating to California and Arizona, where she resided for several years, until 1998, when she returned to Boonville. For many years she was employed in banking. In 2007, she began her employment of several years in the clerical department of the New York State Department of Corrections. At the present time she was employed at the Rome office, Human Resources Department of CNY DDSO. Julie enjoyed camping and the outdoors and also was an avid reader and talented cook. She is survived by one son, Kodie Paquin, Poland; two sisters, Tammy (Nelson) Jones, Cold Brook, Mary Anne (Stephen) Sharpe, Florida; a nephew, Nathan Jones, Cold Brook, her father, Charles Mooney, Boonville. She was predeceased by her mother, Jeanne Mooney and her father, Frederick Mathis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation hours on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 12 Noon until 2:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where a memorial service will begin on Sunday at 2:00 P.M.
