Boonville- Judith Ann Lockwood, 80, of Grove Street, wife of Lynn R., passed away at her residence, on Sunday, August 1, 2021, while under the loving care of her husband, family and hospice. Affectionately known as Judy, she was born in Pitman, New Jersey, on March 16, 1941, a daughter of Stanley and Beatrice Coward Vollmer. On December 26, 1974, Judy was united in marriage with Lynn R. Lockwood; in 1981, the couple moved to their present home in Boonville. Judy was a loving wife, devoted homemaker and mother. She possessed a wonderful talent as a painter who created many artistic paintings of outdoor and wildlife scenes on various materials such as old metal saws, canvas and wooden pieces. Later after her husband, Lynn became owner of Boonville's Great American, Judy was employed in the store bakery as a cake decorator, an endeavor she greatly enjoyed and used her artistic talent in. She greatly enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilling, scrap booking and gardening. Judy was a member of Boonville United Methodist Church and she assisted her husband in pastoring several churches. She was a devoted Christian who diligently studied the Word of God. In addition, she loved going camping and going for rides in the Adirondack Mountains and cruising in Lynn's hot rods. In addition to her husband, Lynn, of 46 plus years, Judy is survived by her daughter, Kelly Schaffner, her husband, Graig and their daughters, Ciara and Jenna, all of Boonville; son Robert Earl Lockwood, II, and his wife, Christie and their children, Reilly, Keely, Brody, Drew, Eli and Kyle all of Westminster, MD; step daughter, Michelle Reinitz and husband, Joe and their children, Jordan and Tyler and her great grandchildren, Logan and Harley. Her Funeral will be Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 12 Noon at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where visitation hours will be from 10:00 A.M. until noon on Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment will be private in Boonville Cemetery. All are invited to attend a reception luncheon following her service at the Boonville United Methodist Church at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday.
