November 4, 1953 — October 7, 2021

Boonville- Jolene A. Sinclair, 67, of Pfendler Road North, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Rome Health Center. Jolene was born in Carthage, on November 4, 1953, a daughter of George H. and Nellie Brooks Youngs, Sr. She grew up in Boonville, receiving her education at Adirondack Central School. Later, for many years she was employed at Slims Restaurant, Boonville. In 1994, Jolene was united in marriage with Harry Sinclair, in Utica. Afterwards they lived in Utica, before moving to Boonville. Mr. Sinclair passed away on November 4, 2007. She greatly enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, her gaming tablet and liked feeding and observing humming birds. She is survived by two sons, Louis (Elizabeth) Higby, Lee Center, Russell Smith, Oriskany; grandchildren, Johnathan Smith, Julie Smith, Deanna Higby, Zachary Higby, Mariah Higby, Izabella Higby, Lilyanna Higby and Annabella Higby; two brothers, Jeffrey Youngs, Boonville, George H. Youngs, Jr., Florida and one sister Judy Fuller, Boonville. Jolene was predeceased by a brother, Robert and by a grandchild, Matthew Higby. Also surviving are three step grandchildren, Kailia Taynor, Dylan Taynor and Hailey Taynor, many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 7:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. where calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Boonville Fire Company Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 164, Boonville, NY 13309.
