Glenfield - Johnathan, L. Weiler, 31, of Pine Grove Road, passed away unexpectedly at his residence, on Friday, January 6, 2017. Johnathan was born on January 6, 1986 in Watertown, a son of Kevin W. Weiler and Sheila Doztan. He was a graduate of the South Lewis High School, with the Class of 2005. While in school, Johnathan excelled on the South Lewis Falcons wrestling team and participated in post season sectional matches and was a member of the Falcons Baseball team, where he enjoyed playing every position and was the team's primary pitcher. After completing his education, following in his father's footsteps, Johnathan began employment for several years as a bridge painter for Amstar Co., Buffalo, followed by self-employment as a painter and employment as a machinist at Otis Technology of Lyons Falls. At the present time he was as a bridge painter for P.S. Brussel Contracting Co. of Buffalo. He enjoyed spending time with his children, hunting and fishing. Johnathan was very active in the Lewis County Billiard League. Johnathan was predeceased by his father, Kevin William Weiler, on May 25, 2006, his maternal grandmother, Ruth E. Dosztan, in 1999, his grandfather, Theodore Weiler, 2014, his paternal grandmother, Sylvia Kriwox, 2013, his God Father/uncle, Eric Bauer, 2014. He is survived by his mother, Sheila Dosztan; his children, Alexander Mathieu, Kevin R. Weiler, Ayden G. Weaver; his fiance Sandra Mihalko, and a dearest special friend, Edward Plato and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Nativity Church, West Leyden, with Rev. Lawrence Marullo, pastor officiating. Interment in the spring will be held in St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Fish Creek. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 11, from 4pm to 7pm at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville. Memorial contributions may be made to his mother, Sheila Smith, 2100 Fish Creek Road, Conastableville, New York 13325, where an educational fund will be established for his children.
