Jerry A. Wallis "Lugnut" Verona- Jerry A. Wallis, 48, husband of Patty A., passed away unexpectedly, with his loving wife by his side at his "happy place", his camp in Westernville, NY on May 25, 2022 Jerry attended VV schools. In his younger years he worked on several local farms, where he learned to fix machinery and led him to become a mechanic. He owned and operated Lugnuts & Axil Auto, he most recently worked for several years at TP Brake and Muffler. Lugnut was an avid biker and member of the Highwaymen MC; a brotherhood he loved and honored. There was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family and friends. He had a special bond with his children and grandchildren, nothing warmed his heart more than spending time with them. He enjoyed being Santa at the Rescue Mission in Rome, NY. Jerry was predeceased by his mother Kathleen R. Failing, his father Danny T. Wallis, Sr., and his son Dylan B. Nicholson. He is survived by his wife Patty A. Wallis; his children Tylor J. Nicholson, Savanah Wallis, his little buddy-Emylee Wallis, Jerry Wallis Jr., grandchildren Lilly and Bella House, Chrysanthemum Wallis and Leonidas, Andrew Mangum, Rita Lynn Wallis, and God-son Brendon. As any family Jerry and Patty have extra children that they love dearly and consider them as their own, Jerrud Griffin, Christine Wilson, Tyler Hartzog, The "boy next-door" - Jess. No words can express the love he had for all of you! Jerry is also survived by his siblings: Dan T. Wallis, Jr., Denise Wallis, Charlie Baldwin. He has several cousins, nieces and nephews who he loved dearly, brothers and sisters-in-law who he shared a special bond with each. We'd like to share a special thanks with our extended family- Scott and Jacky, Kelly and Rich, Fran Uriah, Deb and Rob Stanton, and many more than we can list. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation hours from 4-7 P.M. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville and to a celebration of Jerry's life on Friday evening and on Saturday, June 4, from 12 Noon on, both at Jerry and Patty's residence at 6548 Sholtz Road, Verona, NY.
