Jeannette

Jeannette Patricia (Conlon) Williams, 72, of Remsen, NY, passed away on December 30, 2022, at home with her loving children. Jeannette was born on March 18, 1950, to Jeanne (Pratt) Entwistle and Leo Conlon in Brooklyn, NY. She met Brian Williams, and they wed in October 1971, going on to have two children, Jessica Caroline Williams and Jared Lee Williams.

After graduating from Town of Webb High School, she later went on to study Occupational Therapy at Utica College. Jeannette was awarded employee of the year twice during her career at Upstate Cerebral Palsy. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother and made it her mission to improve the lives of others. She was a board member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Barneveld, a long-standing member of Al-Anon, and a dedicated volunteer at the local food pantry and UCP TRAID Program. She also enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time at the ocean.

Jeannette was predeceased by her parents, sisters Naomi Conlon and Mary Lindsey, brothers Rick Entwistle and Joe Entwistle. She is survived by her ex-husband Brian Williams, children Jared Williams and Caroline Williams, sisters Claire Entwistle, Bonnie Allard, and Nancy Walter, brothers Edward Entwistle, David Weller, and John Crisan, and in-laws Connie Williams, Doreen Williams, and Kevin Williams. As well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.

We will miss her greatly. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Foothills Rural Community Ministry Food Pantry in Holland Patent, NY. Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Barneveld with celebration of life to follow from 2:00 - 4:00pm at Unity Hall in Barneveld, NY.
