Jeanne M. (Leffingwell) Rundle, 50, of Stearns Road, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2006, at St. Lukeï¿(TM)s Memorial Hospital in New Hartford, while surrounded with her loving family, after a long battle with cancer. Jeanne was born in Constableville, on February 15, 1956, a daughter of LeRoy Leffingwell and Joan Brooks Leffingwell Levensailor. She grew up in the Constableville, and Boonville area, graduating from South Lewis Senior High School with the Class of 1974. After that she was employed as a school bus driver for the South Lewis School System, and later as a bus driver for the Westmoreland School District. For the past nineteen years until her illness caused her to retire, Mrs. Rundle was employed as a Floor Monitor at the Federal Reserve Bank of N.Y. at the Oriskany branch. On November 7, 1992, Jeanne was united in marriage to Kevin A. Rundle at the Stanwix Heights Volunteer Fire Hall. She had attended Bible Baptist Church of Port Leyden. She enjoyed Nascar Racing, embroidery stitching, yarn sewing on plastic canvass, and making scrap books. In addition to her husband, Kevin, Jeanne is survived by her father, Le Roy Leffingwell, Port Leyden, her mother, Joan Brooks Levensailor, Boonville, one son from a previous marriage, John Compo, Port Leyden, one grandson; Tyler John Compo, Potsdam, two brothers; Steven and wife Diana Leffingwell, Jacksonville, NC, Gerald Leffingwell and wife Sandy, Jacksonville, Fla., three step brothers; Timothy Levensailor, Port Leyden, Thomas Levensailor, Glenfield, Jody Levensailor, Port Leyden, two step sisters; Tina Levensailor Compo and husband, Richard, and Penny Levensailor LoCash and husband, Joseph, both of Boonville. A graveside service will be private at the convenience of the family at Sands Cemetery, Greig, NY, where Pastor Peter Egnew of Bible Baptist Community Church of Port Leyden will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a public gathering on Thursday, October 26, at 12:30 P.M. at Whelleyï¿(TM)s Four Seasons Restaurant on Boonville-Moose River Road. Flowers are gratefully declined, instead memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, or to Port Leyden Bible Baptist Church. Arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, NY.
