West Leyden- Jane M. Clark, 41, of Mud Lake Road, wife of Joel, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, after a courageous battle with cancer, while surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice. Jane was born along with her twin brother on March 24, 1971 in Rome, the daughter of Richard A. and Patricia Williamson Pocchiari. She was a lifelong resident of the West Leyden area, where she attended grade school at West Leyden Elementary, eventually graduating from Adirondack Central School with the class of 1989. She was united in marriage with Joel Clark at St. Hedwig's Church, Houseville, on August 14, 1993. For several years she was employed at Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she was a nurse's aid. Jane also worked with United Cerebral Palsy and was a resident counselor at their Sheehan residence in Boonville. For many years Jane was the Vice President of the West Leyden P.T.A. and was very active in her volunteer work at the school. Jane was a member of St. Mary's Church, West Leyden. Besides her husband Joel, she is survived by her two sons, Damian and Connor, both at home, her twin brother, James (Martha) Pocchiari, and brother Dennis Pocchiari, both of West Leyden. Also surviving are her father and mother-in-law Fred and Norma Clark, West Martinsburg, her brother-in-law, James (Patty) Clark, Neenam, MA; sisters-in-law: Chris (Josh) Reno, and Cathy (Kini) Johnson, both of Ohio, Uncle Richard (Jane) Williamson, Camden, Uncle Jerry (Gwen) Williamson, North Bay, Aunt Joan (Ian) Klingbail, West Leyden, Uncle Ronald (Krit) Williamson, Boonville, Uncle Daniel (Debbie) Williamson, Ava, Aunt Sally (Steve) Ortlieb, West Leyden, Uncle Morris Pocchiari and fiance Anna, Long Island, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Jane was predeceased by both of her parents. Jane's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, March 11, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Nativity Church, West Leyden, with Rev. Lawrence Marullo officiating. Interment in the spring will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, West Leyden. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville. Memorial donations may be made to the college trust fund of Jane's sons at the Adirondack Bank 13150 Route 12, Boonville, New York 13309.
