Constableville - Jamie N. Pallotta, 32, of High Market Road, formerly of Palisades Park, NJ, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010, of injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident in the Town of Martinsburg. A native of Palisades Park, Jamie was born on February 4, 1978, a son of Michael N. and Wendy (Gayer) Pallotta. He grew up in Palisades Park, NJ, and greatly enjoyed playing football in high school. For eight years he was employed as a security guard for Admirals Walk Condominiums, of Edgewater, NJ. Mr. Pallotta served as a volunteer fire fighter for the Palisades Park Hose Co. # 1. He was a member of St. Nicholas' Catholic Church, Palisades Park. Jamie moved to the Constableville area with his family in 2004. He enjoyed snowmobiling in the Old Forge area and on Tug Hill. He was a member of the Southern Tug Hill Snowmobile Club, West Leyden. He also enjoyed fishing, drag racing, NASCAR, and following the NY Jets football team. I In addition to his parents, Michael and Wendy Pallotta of Constableville, Jamie is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jason of Old Forge, and Michael, Jr. and Lorena of Croghan; an aunt and uncle, Nicholas and Kathy Pallotta of Otter Lake; an uncle, Wayne Gayer of AZ; and a step nephew, Derek of Croghan. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Louise (Ascione) Pallotta, on September 24, 2007, and his grandfather, Nicholas M. Pallotta, on November 14, 2010. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, Constableville, where Rev. Lawrence Marullo, pastor of St. Mary's and Rev. Christopher Carrara, pastor of St. Peter's Church, Lowville, will co-officiate. Visitation will be private. The Pallotta family wishes to sincerely thank the members of the Constableville Fire Co. for their efforts on behalf of Jamie and his family following the accident.
