Port Leyden- James Cough, 76, died suddenly, on October 17, 2021, during a short hospital stay. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Fred toddler sons; Tim and Paul; partner Jean; baby daughter, Amy and sister, Kathy. He loved his family very much and is survived by wife, Cindy; children, Raymond, Angela, James, Stacey, Jaime, Miranda and by marriage Sara and Luke; sisters, Susie, Helena, Barb, Ellen and Skipper; brothers, John and Joey; and their respective families. Jim was a restless Spirit, working over the years in logging, construction, farming, establishing and running several businesses, bus driving and as Mayor of Constableville. He especially enjoyed visiting and B-S'ing with all his friends. Many are gone now, but the rest of you know who you are. So raise a cold one, hit a golf ball or throw a strike to toast Jim on, to his next adventures. There will be no calling hours or public funeral; however, relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life in memory of James Cough, on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 12 Noon until whenever, at The Brickfront on West Main St. in Port Leyden.
