Gloria H. Williamson

Boonville- Gloria H. Williamson, 71, formerly of East Schuyler St., passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, while surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was born on February 2, 1944, a daughter of Alva and Gladys Capron Williamson. After completing her education, Gloria was employed at Sargent's Chair Factory, Boonville. For a time she was employed at Sunset Nursing Home, before becoming employed at Vale Haven Adult Home, Boonville, as a nurse's aide. Gloria retired in 1994 due to declining health. She enjoyed being around other people, and enjoyed playing cards. While residing at Sunset, Gloria enjoyed playing the spoons with her brothers, Mike and Bill, when they played country western music for the residents of the nursing home. Gloria is survived by her daughter: Rose Gydesen and her companion, Casey Happy, Turin, and her sons: Brian Hutchins, Boonville, Frederick Kline, Lowville, and John Pfendler; grandchildren: Heather and Crystal Gydesen, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant grandson, James Gydesen, II. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where Pastor Joe Feller, of Boonville Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Boonville Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wedneday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
