Constableville - Glen J. Seelman, 75, longtime resident of the West Road, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Seelman was born in Fish Creek on February 7, 1935, a son of Adolph F. and Mae (Weiler) Seelman. He grew up on Kotary Road, and completed his education at West Leyden Central School. Glen served in the U.S. Army from 1954-57, stationed in Berlin, Germany. He was employed as a truck driver for the Town of Lewis Highway Department, West Leyden, and Ethan Allen Furniture Company, Boonville. Glen is survived by a brother, Lyle J. Seelman of Constableville, and a sister, Irene "Nikki" Camardo of Utica; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Stuart, who died in a Nazi concentration camp in 1944, Robert, and Ervin; and three sisters, Lula Evans, Mary Piekielniak, and Myrtle Prosser. In keeping with his wishes there are no calling hours or services. Interment with military honors will be in the spring at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery, Fish Creek.
