Lecanto, FL- Geraldine Millen, 94, passed away on September 19, 2016 in Lecanto, Florida. She was born on January 5, 1922 in Clinton, New York to Horace and Clara Peters Millen. Geraldine retired from the Department of Defense as a Secretary in Washington, D.C. after having worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency at American embassies in Australia, Sweden and England. She moved to Florida in 1981 and lived most of her retirement years in Ocala. Geraldine was a member of the Blessed Trinity Church in Ocala, Florida and enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Clara Peters Millen, her sister, Emily Millen Marks, and her brothers Donald Millen, Bernard Pfendler, Robert Pfendler and his wife Jean, and Frederick Pfendler and his wife Norma. Geraldine is survived by her sister-in-law, Blanche Pfendler and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boonville, on Friday, September 30, at 10:00 am. Her mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on September 23 at Blessed Trinity Church, Ocala, Fl. Arrangements are in care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.
