Gerald E. "Jerry" Linck, 53, of Domser Road, husband of Joan M. Sullivan Linck, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 8, 2006, at Rome Memorial Hospital from heart complications. Jerry was born January 5, 1953 in Boonville, a son of Ronald W. and Florence Barrett Linck. He was a lifelong resident of the Domser Road and graduated from Adirondack Central School with the Class of 1971. Following graduation he began his employment at Ethan Allen Furniture, Boonville, where he worked his way up to Supervisor. After the plant closed he attended electrician courses at Howard G. Sackett B.O.C.E.S., Glenfield. In the Fall of 2005 he went to work at Alfred Publishing, Oriskany, as a Group Leader. On September 9, 1972 he was united in marriage with Joan Sullivan at St. Josephï¿(TM)s Church, Boonville. Jerry greatly loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. He also enjoyed bowling, golf, snowmobiling, the Giants and Yankees. In addition to his wife Joan, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Brandy and Christopher Crofoot of Talcottville; one son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Melissa Linck of Manlius; six grandchildren: Jenna, Paige, Alexandria and Troy Crofoot, and Patrick and Anna Linck; three sisters: Mrs. Kenneth (Frances) Strife of Croghan, Phyllis Worden of Boonville, and Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Rhone of Talcottville; two brothers: James and wife Priscilla Linck of Constableville, and Dennis and wife Veronica Linck of San Bernardino, CA; many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Jerryï¿(TM)s wishes cremation will take place. There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are in the care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., Boonville.
