Brantingham- George C. Robinson, 73, passed away on Tuesday, June 14 at his home on Brantingham Lake, NY. He is survived by daughters: Lori Robinson of Tempe AZ, and Ami Smith of Newark NY, sons: Peter (Keno) Smith of Henderson NV, Jim (Baby) Smith of Navarre FL, sisters Joanne Ross, Ellen Salter, and Linda Luths, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Sharon Quigley Robinson in 2004. He loved camp Cannon and Brantingham Lake deeply, and enjoyed spending winters in the southwest with his family. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a well-read historian, and a great storyteller. He will be missed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, 6106 Blue Street, Glenfield on July 15, at 11 am, with Rev. Daniel Chapin officiating.
