Frank W. Moselle, 85, of South Street, husband of Betty Moselle, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. Frank was born August 22, 1922 in New Bremen, a son of Arthur E. and Eleanora Smith Moselle, where he grew up and attended school. He moved with his family to Utica prior to entering the U.S. Army in 1943, serving in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. After his discharge from the Army Frank returned to Utica, and in 1960 he and his brother Arthur started FAM TV, selling and repairing televisions. In 1984 he moved the business to Route 12, Boonville, retiring in the late 1980's. On August 3, 1974 he was united in marriage with Betty Reed at the Boonville Methodist Church. The couple lived on Route 12, Boonville, moving to Deerfield after his retirement, and then to their home on South St. He was a member of the Boonville Alliance Church and the Boonville Elks Lodge #2158. Frank loved his Bible study groups and Men's studies through his Church. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV. In addition to his wife, Betty, he is survived by a stepson: Frederick and wife Nancy Reed of Perry; a stepdaughter: Andrea and husband Ed McFadden of Yorkville; a sister: Ida Moselle of Boonville; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and a special "granddaughter": Haily. He was predeceased by a stepson, Archie Reed; three brothers, James, Gerald and Arthur; and three sisters, Betty, Annette, and Marion. Funeral Service for Mr. Moselle will be at 7pm Saturday at the Trainor Funeral Home, 143 Schuyler St., Boonville, with Pastor David Hedeen, of the Boonville Alliance Church, officiating. Interment will be in the spring in Alder Creek Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 pm Saturday, prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boonville Alliance Church, 12593 Potato Hill Road, Boonville, NY 13309.
