Boonville- Eleanor I. (Baker) Karpinski, 74, of East Road, wife of Paul, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 14, 2014, at Lewis Co. Extended Care Facility, Lowville. She was born on September 25, 1940, in Lewisburg (Jefferson Co.) on September 25, 1940, a daughter of Sylvenus and Lillian Sadler Baker. Eleanor grew up in Natural Bridge, where she graduated from high school. On December 12, 1959, she was united in marriage with Paul Karpinksi, in Harrisville. For many years the couple made their home on East Road near Boonville. Mrs. Karpinski was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Boonville. Eleanor greatly loved her husband, children, and caring for her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Melinda (Dave) Moscicki, Lauri Karpinski, Deborah (Dean) Briot, Jackie Karpinski (David Lee) and Michael (Mary Ann) Karpinski; her grandchildren: Brad Moscicki, Stacey Moscicki, Jamie Karpinski, Matthew Briot, Justin Briot, Evan Briot, Tia Briot, Kayla Perry, Kari Lee, Lacey Schultz, Dalton Schultz, Kenzie Karpinksi, Kaden Karpinski, a great grandson, Ayden Mayer; and one brother, Gilbert Baker. Her Funeral Services will be private on Tuesday, at the convenience of the family at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where Rev. Ron Pominville, ordained Deacon at St. Peter's Church, of Lowville, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boonville. Calling hours are Monday for her immediate family.
